It was the fuse that you mentioned. had a hard time finding it, so much mud covered it. I had to wash it to see it. Iv never had anything like this happen to any of my other atvs. thanks for the help, again. I think if anything happens again I’ll ask you before I take anywhere.

If your lights don’t work, it sound like an electrical problem. There is a fuse on the frame under the fender by the left rear tire. I would check the fuse. To see if the engine is locked up you can put it in gear and push the bike. If it’s locked up the tires will slide, if it’s still turning it will push hard, but the chain will move. If it has a pull start, you can try that too, but I’m guessing you don’t since you didn’t mention it.

Well I dont really know. I wouldnt think my engine is bad because I had it rebuilt when I first got it, but that doesnt mean they messed something up tho. All I know is it wouldnt even try to start, lights wouldn’t come on. I thought maybe it would have been my batterie but I got a new one and still nothing.

When you say it “wouldn’t turn over” what exactly happened? Is the engine locked up, or is the starter just not working? If you fried the engine it probably isn’t worth taking to a dealer, cost you more than the whole bike is worth.

Well my 1989 Yamaha Warrior had its first breakdown just the other day, don’t know what it is. I was going through some mud got stuck so I shut it off to call my little brother. As I waited I tried to turn the engine on, to see if I could get unstuck, but my engine wouldn’t turn over (start). Any ideal what it might be before I take it to a dealer.

yeah i had a 1987 yamaha warrior i bought it for 800 dollars had it for 6 months did some work to it re-painted the plastic,front bumper,and the a-arms and also the seat. i didnt mind the quad it did good on trails and it was fast. the only thing i didnt like was that when id jump it the front end would come down first,i didnt like how they made the front end heavy.

Thanks for all the help I found some skid plates and some shocks yesterday. There going to help me a lot with the stuff that I go through. Thanks for all your help. Me and my family are going to Lake Ontario I have never been their but herd its good. thanks again for all the help
