This is one of the funnier practical jokes I’ve heard about in a while. Sir Richard Branson took advantage of poor Paris Hilton.
The theme of the party was the Mad Hatter, and Paris decided to come dressed as Alice in Wonderland and she notified everyone in advance.
Apprised of this information, Sir Richard ordered all the waitresses at the event, some 60 in total to dress in the same costume, thereby placing Paris in the awkward situation of not being the center of attention.
To make matters worse, Sir Richard at one stage pretended to act as if the hotel heiress were a waitress and asked her to go fetch him a drink.
