Just read about this. CNET senior editor James Kim and his family are missing.
Kim and his family were taking a trip from their home in San Fransisco to the Pacific Northwest. Their last known destination was Gold Beach Oregon.
This guy is a blogger that lives in Oregon and seems to know the area well. He had some interesting notes about contact with the police.
It is unbelievable to me that here in the 21st century a family could go missing for 4 days and no one can find them. It’s kinda scary if you think about it. I pray everyone is OK.

Right, it does seem strange though the area I’m talking about is very big and remote. If the car went down a steep mountainside it might not be visible, even from the air.
I live in Colorado, so I can understand big and remote areas where a person could get lost, but it’s still a frightening thought. Not something you hear about happening very often.
